Life since high school:

(August, 2004)  Can you believe I have not been in touch with anyone from our class? Shame on me. I had a lot of friends and even a cousin.

I live in SSF. I have been divorced for 9 years. I have three children. Christine 25, Steven 23, and Matthew 21. I worked for 28 years at Bank of America until 1994 when the big layoff occurred. I now work for a small company in SSF that makes french pates and sausages.

NOTICE OF PASSING:
Cathy Marie (Chesebro) Salazar was born March 3, 1947, in San Francisco, California, and passed away August 12, 2022, in Antioch, CA, after over a decade-long battle with kidney disease. Raised by Bill and Dolores Chesebro and Helen “Nana” Williams, survived by and greatly missed by her daughter Christina Salazar-Signorella, son in-law Matthew Signorella, two sons, Steven Salazar and Matthew Salazar of South San Francisco, daughter in-law, Ashley Stettler-Salazar of Cheney, WA, brother and sister in-law, Ron And Wenda Chesebro of Santee, CA and best friends Mary Lee and Nicole Chapman of San Francisco, niece/nephews Jessica, Ron Jr. Chesebro, and David Kozak of Santee, CA and two grandchildren, Danica Salazar and Violet Stettler of Cheney,WA.

Cathy loved her work at Bank of America. Throughout her 30-year career, Cathy's friends and colleagues knew her as a kind soul who loved to make people laugh. Her unique and at times inappropriate sarcasm and humor was infectious as her smile that made a lasting impression on everyone.

One of Cathy’s true passions was watching the sport of baseball. Cathy enjoyed attending her sons games throughout the Bay Area. She also never missed a San Francisco Giants game and often stayed up until the final out.

Cathy will be remembered for her kindness and great sense of humor. She cherished spending time talking to loved ones on the phone happily hearing about their day and making sure to share how everyone else’s day was going. Cathy had a beautiful soul and was great friend to many.

Services were held at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave. in Daly City on August 27, 2022.
